Furious 8 To Be Set In New York City?

The car Walker's character Brian O'Connor drove in The Fast and the Furious (2001) is up for sale now, and the highest bidder will take the prized posession. The car is a 1993 Toyota Supra and one of many that were available on set when the movie was being made. Mecum Auctions is initiating this process. The car this is being put for auction was featured in the final race sequence of the movie, bringing up its value.

Right now the price range has been estimated from $150,000 to $200,000.

Paul Walker's Character To Be Replaced By Brother, Cody, In Furious 7 Sequel?

Here's a snippet from the official listing:

"This Supra was featured throughout the movie, including the final race scene between Walker's character and that of fellow actor Vin Diesel. During the climactic scene, Walker drives this Supra head to head against Diesel's Dodge Charger in a race to a railroad crossing where both cars jump the tracks just in time to miss an oncoming train and just as the action appears to calm down, Vin Diesel's character collides with a semi; flipping the Charger over the Supra as it cruises ahead. The car is equipped with a 2JZ-GE 3.0L/220 HP inline-6 engine and 5-speed manual transmission, with power augmented by twin Holley Performance nitrous oxide bottles mounted in the rear compartment (not attached)."

Furious 7 hit theaters on April 3, 2015.
