Shocking and sad news for Rookie Blue star Missy Peregrym as reports circulate that she and her husband Zachary Levi are preparing to split less than one year after their secret wedding.

It's been just 10 months since Levi and Peregrym surprised fans and let them know they had tied the knot in a private Hawaii ceremony. But on April 6, Peregrym cited irreconcilable differences as the reason she wanted to divorce Levi. Apparently their separation was just as much of a secret as their nuptials.

The date of separation was listed as Dec. 3; six months after their June 14, 2014 wedding.

The last time they were spotted together was in September of 2014. They made appearances at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. Aside from that they have been seen together separately a couple of other events.

Their wedding was described as "very personal" and "very small."

Levi told E! News just weeks after the wedding, "There were a lot off friends and family that weren't even able to come. I felt bad about that."

Interestingly enough, Levi updated fans just last month on how marriage was going. It seems like he hinted that they were trying to fight to make it work.

"With dating you can be 'Hey, it's not working out,' and you're out. But marriage, you make a commitment. The easy outs you don't have anymore. You're responsible for another person's life as they are yours."

They don't have any children.

Peregrym is gearing up for the sixth season premiere of Rookie Blue.
