Lydia McLaughlin hasn't maintained friendships with the ladies of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

Heather Dubrow Is Nominated For Two Acting Awards

Although the mother of three does frequently speak to a couple of her fellow former housewives, she recently revealed the rest of the women wrote her off once she left the Bravo reality series.

"Gretchen (Rossi) and Alexis (Bellino) both read my book and came to my party for my party. So, I’m still good friends with the two of them but pretty much once I said I wasn’t going to do the show the text messages from all the other girls were gone," McLaughlin revealed to FOX News on Thursday. "I was friends with them because I was a housewife and when I didn’t have that any more I think I wasn’t worthy to be their friend."

Brooks Ayers Reportedly Struggling With Chemo

After starring on the series' eighth season, McLaughlin announced she was leaving the show to focus on her career, and expanding her family. However, fans of the show had their doubts, and many reports clamied she was fired.

According to McLaughlin, her decision to leave the series was made after a dramatic reunion left Vicki Gunvalson and her daughter at odds.

"Seeing Brianna and Vicki because I am so close with my mom so I obviously really related to a mother/daughter on TV as entertainment but it’s still a real relationship, and they got into a big battle in the middle of the reunion, and they were just fighting," she recalled. "I remember thinking, 'Why am I here? I don’t have to be here right now.' So I felt inside the Lord telling me to get up and leave."
