Madonna's daughter Lourdes Leon was part of the staff on her mother's "MDNA" world tour this summer, but her job was less than glamorous.

While her brothers took on-stage roles — 12-year-old Rocco was a dancer and 7-year-old adopted son David took on DJ duties — Lourdes worked in the wardrobe department.

The 16-year-old took to her blog, "Material World," to tell fans about her experiences, which she said include "the joys of folding underwear."

"As you probably know this woman I like to call my mother went on tour for her MDNA album," Lourdes wrote. "As a summer job I decided to work in the wardrobe department. All of my friends were getting summer jobs and I wanted one too. Mine was a little unconventional but still a great experience and a lot of fun."

Part of Lourdes' duties included getting Madonna's dancers changed as fast as possible when they needed to put on a different costume between musical numbers.

"Being in the wardrobe department meant me and a few other girls dressed the dancers during the show when they had quick changes," she wrote. "Thirty seconds to totally dress a sweaty dancer can be insane and provoke mucho anxiety. Doing this night after night was pretty cray, but I loved every minute of it."

Once the "MDNA" tour is over, Lourdes has plans to head to college and get some distance from the spotlight that comes with her internationally famous mother, a source close to the family said.

"Lourdes can't wait to leave home and get to university. She's already planned it all," the insider said. "She's also fed up being in the spotlight. That's why she didn't go on stage during Madonna's tour."

Lourdes is Madonna's only child with personal trainer and fitness guru Carlos Leon.
