Nick Loeb is having a really hard time letting go. The businessman is still defending his decision to sue his ex-fiancée Sofia Vergara over their embryos while also trying to convince the public that he was the one to pull the plug on their engagement, as Vergara was not interested in having children with him.

Sofia Vergara Responds To Nick Loeb's Allegations That She Wants To Destroy Her Embryos

In a new op-ed for The New York Times, Loeb gets very personal as to why he still wants to become a father with the embryos while also dishing on dirty secrets about his relationship with Vergara.

Loeb wrote, "In 2013, Sofía and I agreed to try to use in vitro fertilization and a surrogate to have children. We signed a form stating that any embryos created through the process could be brought to term only with both parties' consent. The form did not specify - as California law requires - what would happen if we separated. I am asking to have it voided."

He added, "It became clear once more that parenthood was much less urgent for her than it was for me. We had been together for over four years. As I was coming on 40, I gave her an ultimatum. When she refused, we split up."

Apparently, Loeb initially sued Vergara over her "desire to destroy" the embryos. The Hollywood star's lawyer released a statement earlier this month stating that she doesn't want to actually destroy them, but keep them frozen indefinitely, given the fact that the ex-couple is no longer together.

Loeb, meanwhile, says that he still wants to bring the embryos to term as he himself has always dreamed of being a parent.

The couple broke up last year and the actress is now engaged to Joe Manganiello.
