While chatting to the hosts of For Crying Out Loud, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star looked back on their friendship, claiming she was unable to help her co-star through her sobriety issues because Richards simply wasn't ready.

“My thing is, you can’t help somebody that doesn’t want help," Glanville explained, according to a report by the Inquisitr on Thursday, "and if they say, 'I’m fine,' then in their head, they’re fine and there’s nothing you can do until they say ‘I want to get help.’"

Richards was arrested on April 16 at the Beverly Hills Hotel after drinking vodka at her daughter's house the previous night. According to an E! News report, police were called to the hotel around 1:30 a.m., and soon after, found a belligerent Richards, who was reportedly slurring her speech and reeking of alcohol.

"For me, I never saw her drink, I never saw her do anything. I never saw her do a drug," Glanville continued. "Did I see odd behavior? I did. But until she says to me, ‘There’s something wrong. I need help,’ it’s not my place to go and say, ‘You have a problem,’ because all that does is make, shut me down to her, she walks away from me and then she has nobody.”

Richards entered treatment on Friday.
