While the case may be over, Hernandez's legal troubles are far from over and new rumors online suggest that the football star's fiancée Shayanna Jenkins may have known about the murder.

According to Sports World Report, Jenkins "faces an uncertain future and it comes as she may have been lying about what she knew about the shooting and what she did with crucial evidence in the case."

During the trial, Jenkins testified in court and claimed that the day after Lloyd's murder, Hernandez called her to dispose of a large box that was stored in the couple's storage room.

"He told me to go downstairs in our storage room and remove a box from our home," Jenkins said. "I believe he said it was important."

Hernandez's fiancée says she asked the former NFL star if he was responsible for Lloyd's death and he responded no.

Since his conviction, Hernandez was moved Wednesday to the maximum-security Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley after being placed on suicide watch and it has also been confirmed that Lloyd's mother Ursula Ward has filed criminal charges against the defendant for a wrongful death suit.

As previously reported, Hernandez was allegedly involved in another double homicide that took place in 2012 and he is also being sued by a man named Alexander Bradley, who claims the former athlete shot him while the two men were in a limousine back in February of 2013.

Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to each charge, so be sure to check in for more updates as the story continue to unfolds.
