They might have had a few ups and downs in their marriage, but that doesn't mean that Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones don't have the same fights many couples do in their marriage, too. The Hollywood actor recently admitted that his wife loves it when he plays a villain on the big screen because that means he doesn't "bring his bad side home."

Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta Jones: What Caused The Separation?

According to the Belfast Telegraph last week, Douglas who will next be seen in the highly-anticipated Ant-Man, says that playing a bad guy suits his marriage as he gets it out of his system by the time he gets home.

He said, "Catherine would rather see me get it out on screen than have it back in the house. Because you could do anything you want when you're bad. There's no moral compass and audiences love it."

Michael Douglas And Catherine Zeta Jones Back Together After Split?

Back in November, it was reported that the couple was going through a $300 million dollar divorce, when in actuality they have been patching up their marriage and buying a new country house instead. The Hollywood couple reportedly even enjoyed a post-Christmas ski vacation in Denver with their two children, Carys and Dylan, back in December.

The National Enquirer's print edition in November claims that the couple has been having "massive fights" with Zeta-Jones even refusing to celebrate Douglas' recent 70th birthday.

Gossip Cop corrected the story though, reporting that the recently-reconciled couple is doing just fine, with a couple confirming that there is absolutely "no trouble" in their marriage.
