Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles, might describe herself as a mother of four, but for this year’s Mother’s Day, she saluted her daughters in an open letter.

In a letter called "You Have Been Such a Blessing To Me" penned for Time magazine Wednesday, Knowles poured out her heart and thoughts on her famous daughters.

Starting with Beyonce, she simply hoped that critics and haters would come to know her true personality.

Tina Knowles Reveals Blue Ivy Convinced Her To Remarry

“I wish people could see how you are when you’re not in front of the camera or on stage. How compassionate and kind you are to people, how you look them right in the eye when you speak to them. How hard you work, how generous you are with your time and money. How you don’t care if anyone knows about it because you do it from the heart.”

She continued and wrote that Beyonce spends time with children who are a part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She credited her daughter for being able to be one of the most famous singers in the world, but still “grounded and humble.”

She moved on to Solange Knowles, who she’s not surprised to see grow into a unique and independent woman.

“I knew when you were born three days late that you would walk to the beat of your own drum. You were always my rebel warrior! Always defending the underdog and fighting for what you believe in.”

She revealed that Solange went as far as kicking off a petition for a “bad teacher” to get fired when she was only 10 years old.

As for Kelly Rowland, Tina pointed out that while the Knowles family took her in when she was 11, she considers her “a true gift from God. You were the sweetest, most kind person I had ever met and you still are. You are a true survivor.”

She ended her touching note with her niece Angie Beyince.

“We have always been more like mother and daughter! You see through BS right away! You’ve always had our backs. Our own family fixer!! You know I call you Olivia Pope!!!!!”
