Peter (Chris Noth) and Alicia's (Julianna Margulies) image in the public view is going to take a hit in the finale of season 6 of The Good Wife.

Alicia To Be More 'Humble' And Will 'Soften' In The Finale

TVLine revealed that the couple will face a backlash on account of Alicia's scandal, and this will be shown in the episode, entitled 'Wanna Partner?' The report hints at the fact that the enstranged personal lives of the duo will finally come under attack in the public and political realm. The leaked emails might also put further stress on the situation. Showrunner Robert King also addressed the question of how the two had gone on this long living seperately without the media catching up to them.

"We've been following news stories about governors, and often the spouse is working separately from where the government business is handled," King said. "Peter in theory is in Springfield, and Alicia is in Chicago, and you can't forget the friendly looking-away the press sometimes does [when] governors and other public figures have business that takes them away from home."
