Kody officially divorced his first wife, Meri Barber, last season before marrying Robyn.

There seems to be a lot of speculation that Meri will be leaving the show next season for good. Meri reportredly wants to explore monogamy after having been in a polygamous household for nearly 25 years.

Venture Capital Post pointed out that the divorce between Meri and Kody granted a lot of speculation about why she decided to let go of him legally.

The family claimed on the show that it is so that Robyn can allow Kody to legally adopt her kids.

Because her only child has left home for college and she cannot have anymore children, some are speculating that she is tired of "feeling alone" and that is why she wants to explore monogamy.

TLC has not yet confirmed that Brown would be leaving the show, but speculation remains high.

Other sources are saying that Robyn will have to go head-to-head with her ex-husband in a legal battle to gain custody of their kids and his adoption of them will not be easy.

A source said that her ex-husband is going to "make it difficult for her to gain custody over their children."
