'The Originals' Producer Reveals The 'Scariest Thing In The World'

On Monday, Entertainment Weekly posted details from executive producer Michael Narducci who opened up on the craziness that will be coming along in the third season. Dahlia may be defeated, but audiences can expect more villains coming their way. And this time, it'll likely be someone (or something) that no one has even heard of yet.

"That's what we've been talking about in the writers' room for a very long time now," Narducci said. "I think when we are finally able to reveal what's happening, it should make a lot of sense and feel like the next stage in what this family will need to go through and deal with. It's pretty frightening and we're having a lot of fun with it."

Chatter On Dahlia's Return To 'The Originals'

The producer also dished on the future of Davina and how she is one powerful leader. But there is also the matter of Marcel, someone Davina cares for.

"When we met him in the pilot, he was assassinating and executing witches in the street, so Davina is going to have a really difficult choice to make going forward," Narducci said. "But yes, she's definitely going to be standing up for herself and for her people."

The Originals Season 3 is expected to premiere this fall on The CW.
