General Hospital is officially going live --but the drama will still be as intense as ever, even without the cast having a safety net when it comes to remembering their lines.

Duke's Death Brings Unanswered Questions

Though this episode and the next will both be filmed live on the set, the show will still be following along with the same storyline--in the aftermath of the Nurse's Ball and Duke's shocking murder.

After Duke was shot and killed by Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise), Anna (Finola Hughes) was left heartbroken, and while set on revenge, stumbled across "Jake" (Billy Miller" being Sloane's (Grayson McCouch) informant. The three (in addition to Julian --William DeVry--and Carlos) are the only ones who know the truth about who killed Duke--and for now, Jake is being touted as the one responsible for the crime.

Jason In Danger?

In the meantime, Sonny (Maurice Benard) has warned Julian that he needs to turn over the man from his organization who took Duke out, on the threat that if he didn't produce his hitman, Sonny would take his life instead. Julian knows he can't give up Carlos, and after false assurances from Jake, he could turn him over to Sonny--putting him in extreme danger.

Spoilers for the episode previously teased that someone would get shot--and if Sonny is truly out for revenge, he could be the one pulling the trigger--and Jake could be the one the bullet is aimed for.

What Sonny doesn't know however, is that if he shoots Jake, he is not only retaliating against the person who didn't kill Duke, but he's also trying to kill his former enforcer--Jason. Jake is still not aware of his true identity as Jason Morgan--and if Sonny succeeds in killing him, he may never have the chance to prove himself once more.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
