Black Jack (Tobias Menzies) is currently conducting an "investigation into sadism," and Jamie (Sam Heughan) is his extremely unlucky test subject. Once the Brit is finished torturing Fraser, however, Jamie will have another hurdle to conquer.

"I think there's a big reveal in the last couple of episodes, especially in the very last episode, that's going to affect his life for a long time to come," Heughan teased, according to Collider.

The new information, and the conclusion of season 1, will leave the Starz characters in a particularly "strange" place.

"They enter into a really strange place at the end of season 1," Heughan explained. "They've grown a tremendous deal but have to take on more responsibility. That's going to carry through to season 2 and hopefully it will get darker and even more complex.

Filming has already begun for the second season.
