He was hardly in Port Charles lately because he was tending to a mystery patient (really Ava) in New York, but Silas (Michael Easton) is finally back in town and will be shocked by what he's told on General Hospital.

Delia Sheds Light on The Denise Situation

He was treating Ava (Maura West) after rescuing her from her near death experience, only to find she had cancer. He supposedly helped her end her life after she begged to no longer feel the pain, and he is now back in town after his extended absence, and eager to learn what has happened in his absence from his daughter, Kiki (Hayley Erin).

"What'd I miss?" he asks her in a preview clip for the Tuesday, June 2 episode.

The Truth About 'Denise' Is Revealed

Kiki may then inform him about the shocking turn of events that has affected them all recently--the arrival of 'Denise,' who is now believed to be Ava's previously unknown fraternal twin sister after Delia (Ilene Kristen) claimed to have had twins. Naturally, the news may shock Silas, who is the only person who knows if Ava actually died. While she showed her face to her mother after the memorial service (everyone believed she died falling off the bridge), only Silas knew of her cancer struggle--and only he knows if he actually killed Ava or not.

If he genuinely believed he had left Ava to die however, he may be floored when he meets Denise and quickly comes to the conclusion that she is actually Ava in disguise.

Meanwhile, Denise is trying to make sure she finds a way to fit in with her new family following the reveal of her alleged identity.

"I plan on being her favorite aunt," she says to Julian (William DeVry) about Kiki in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
