According to Variety on Wednesday, the Latina beauty will be picking up her award at the 6th Annual Los Angeles Golf Classic on Monday, June 8th as part of the SAG Foundation's 30th anniversary celebration. The actress is being honored for supporting nonprofits and children's organizations in her home country of Colombia.
The Modern Family star said in a statement, "It is an honor to be recognized by the SAG Foundation. This group does so much work supporting and educating the entertainment community and also the general public. I know how hard it can be to get work in this town and I'm grateful that the SAG Foundation exists to help those who are struggling."

Meanwhile, Vergara's soon-to-be husband Joe Manganiello has recently admitted that he doesn't mind being a sex symbol to his millions of fans from around the world.
In a new interview with Details Magazine, Manganiello opens up about his latest film, Magic Mike XXL, along with being in a very good place in his life right now. The sexy hunk has been engaged to Vergara since Christmas of last year with the couple making plans to tie the knot later this year.
As far as being objectified, he said, "Why would I? I don't think men care why women like them, as long as they do. That's the point of the nerd in high school who makes it big. You work that hard for a reason. You want to have access to the dating pool."
