As many know Lauren Jauregui and the other Fifth Harmony members each initially auditioned as solo artists during Season 2 of The X Factor USA.

The 5H member recently discussed her preliminary auditions with Sugarscape, which shed some interesting information.

On Monday the British entertainment site revealed Jauregui's thoughts reflecting on auditioning for the singing competition show.

The singer revealed that during the preliminary rounds of auditions she totally messed up, but kept her cool and was able to make it into the next set of rounds and well the rest is history.

"You have to go through preliminary rounds before you sing in front of the judges on TV, so there was a whole cattle call process," Jauregui recalled, adding, "I remember sitting in the cattle call and there was hundreds of thousands of people, I'm not even kidding, and I was sitting there with my little backpack and my dad behind me. I was 15 years old, looking round thinking 'There's no way I'm going to make it, there's so many people.'"

"I just remember the first audition I walked into I forgot the lyrics to the song because I was so nervous. I panicked a little bit inside but I didn't let it show on my face. I just stared into the guy's eyes and was making up words as I went thinking 'I hope this man doesn't know this song and I hope that he enjoys my rendition because I'm totally bullshitting everything right now,'" she revealed.

Fifth Harmony's song "BO$$" only came out last year, but Jauregui has been a boss since before then. It sounds like destiny was in the making all the way back then when she was just auditioning.

"It was hilarious," she added about what happened during the preliminary auditions she went through.

"Then when I finished he gave me one of the tickets to move on, so that was one of those moments for me. I was like 'Hell yeah, I'm a boss.' I almost totally blew it and he gave me the ticket anyway," Jauregui dished.
