After surfacing in Los Angeles earlier this week with her arm in a sling, the former Hills star opened up about the injury that's left her feeling like RoboCop.

"I haven't had proper use of that arm in almost two years," Montag told Us Weekly on Friday. "I try not to complain about it much, but it's been painful. It's my tendon -- it was pulling away from the bone, so I had to have it reattached."

According to the former reality star, who also apperaed on VH1's Famous Food and WEtv's Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, her injury is the result of "too much weight-lifting, CrossFit, and all that crazy workout stuff."

"I'm super competitive and I think I just pushed it too hard," she explained to the magazine. "I got a new cast today, and I look like RoboCop! I'll be in a cast for three weeks and then physical therapy. It should be six months of recovery time, total."

"It tore off the bone -- the tendon did, and right when I thought my surgery days were over," she continued.

Luckily, the wife of Spencer Pratt isn't letting her injury get her down, and has stayed focused on the positive.

"At least I have the rest of my health. I don't have anything more life-threatening, so I'm just thankful for the rest of the parts that do work," she added.
