Harry Hamlin isn't a huge fan of reality television, but his wife is.

Following Lisa Rinna's first season on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Hamlin spoke out, claiming his soap star wife is having a "great" time with the network, but confirming he does his best to avoid the cameras.

"I'm never there when the cameras are there," Hamlin told KTLA last week. "They said 'Well, of course you're going to be on it,' and I said, 'It's called the HouseWIVES, it's not called the Househusbands, right?'"

Although Hamlin has a hectic schedule, he does come in contact with the cameras at times, but when he does, he's sure to make his appearance brief.

"I have a rule about the show. I don't sit down—if I'm there I just walk through the background," he explained.

As for his wife, Hamlin said, "She's having a great time. It's been really wonderful."

It's also been really dramatic, and even months after the show wrapped, Rinna continues to feud with cast member Brandi Glanville, who recently discussed her behavior on Podcast One.

“Lisa Rinna got a golden pass," Glanville alleged. "She could say whatever she wanted and everyone loved her – even though half the s**t she said was horrible! But I’m telling you – she’ll have her moment.”
