Capcom has released a brand new gameplay trailer for Resident Evil 0, the upcoming remastered version of the game that's coming to Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, and PC in early 2016.

Super Meat Boy Coming To PS4 & PS Vita

Much like the widely successful remastered version of Resident Evil that was released this January and went on to sell over a million copies in a few short months (not bad for a nearly 20-year-old game) this remake of Resident Evil 0 will utilize their brand new next-gen engine. Just to have it in 16:9 widescreen is nice enough, but the new graphics look far beyond the 2002 Gamecube original, displaying horrifying zombies, wonderful sound effects, and improved cinematics..

Otherwise, it looks like it will mostly be the same game, although it's certainly possible that they will change things around in the game itself to surprise and delight longtime fans of the series.

Super Smash Bros Nintendo Direct Video Announced For E3

The trailer below sets up the story for the prequel, which takes place a day before the mansion incident in the first Resident Evil. You play as S.T.A.R.S. rookie medic Rebecca Chambers, who was an NPC in the original game. You also have control of one Billy Cohen, a convicted ex-Marine whose familiarity with weaponry comes in handy when zombies attack them on a train. Throughout the game you'll be able to switch between the two characters to solve puzzles and evade enemies.

Check out the video below, and make sure it's set to 1080p for full effect!
