Scott Cawthon has just posted a new teaser image for Five Nights at Freddy's 4, his upcoming third sequel to his best-selling horror game series.

Street Fighter 5 Details And Trailer Released

Unlike past teasers, which have showed off the increasingly-monstrous animatronics, this one seems fairly innocuous- a purple top hat and bow tie, hiding in the darkness.

Thanks to some handy detectives on Reddit it's been revealed that if you brighten the image it says "PROPERTY OF FR.... ER" on the bottom right, which folks believe means "Property of Fredbear's Family Diner".

Some users think the hat and bow tie might be part of the Purple Guy's costume. The purple guy is the antagonist from the second and third games, and is behind the "Missing Children Incident" mentioned in the game.

While the games aren't exactly known for their deep story, but they have built up their own mythology, however slight. Of course the question now is if the world ready for yet another Five Nights at Freddy's?

Let's not forget that the first game only came out last August and Cawthon has been positively cranking them out, the former Christian-game developer finally finding a theme that hit big and just running with it. Judging from the games' constant place at the top of the best-seller charts on all the platforms they're available, people aren't quite sick of them yet.

As this fourth installment is said to be the final one, this Halloween may be a treat for fans of the series.
