According to a new report, the 25-year-old rapper, who is best known for his hit with Drake, "Who Do You Love?," was shot three times outside of a music studio, and his shooter remains at large.

"Law enforcement sources tell us, it happened at around 1:45 AM in Studio City," TMZ reported this afternoon. "We're told someone shot YG 3 times in the hip. Somehow the rapper was able to get in his car and someone from his group drove him to a nearby hospital."

"Cops were called and found multiple shell casings and blood on the sidewalk," the report continued. "Police went to the hospital to interview YG but we are told he was 'very uncooperative.'"

According to a second report, via Perez Hilton, the shooting may have been gang-related. The site claimed, although it is unconfirmed, that YG, real name Keenon Daequan Ray Jackson, "does have supposed gang affiliations."

Luckily, according to YG's rep, the rapper's injuries are not life threatening.
