It looks as though the Republican party is split on this issue, yet it has nothing to do with politics. Some are suggesting that Republicans are trying to distance themselves from the Duggar family ever since news broke that Josh Duggar sexually molested his sisters when he was a teenager back in 2002 and 2003.

And while the Duggars still have their supporters in political figures like Mike Huckabee, John McCain's daughter Meghan McCain isn't one of them. The outspoken blogger and activist flat out said that she has "never been a fan of the Duggars."

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, McCain said that the TLC network should definitely consider pulling 19 Kids & Counting from their lineup.

She said, "I've never been a fan of the Duggars ever, I continue not to be a fan of theirs. I think TLC should definitely pull their show."

McCain also said that she doesn't understand how some politicians have been using the Josh Duggar molestation scandal as a political platform used for debate.

"I don't understand how child molestation could possibly be a political issue in any way," Meghan said. "I don't understand why this is turning into a Republican-Democrat issue."

So far, TLC has not released any statements on whether or not they plan on keeping the Duggar's reality television show on the air.
