Vicki Gunvalson might feel very proud and supportive of her friend Shannon Beador for sharing her marital struggles on screen, but unfortunately she doesn't think the odds are in her favor. The Real Housewives of Orange County star thinks Shannon's marriage doesn't stand a chance after it was revealed that her husband of 14 years David Beador had cheated on her with a mistress.

According to Reality Tea on Thursday, Vicki took to her blog to talk about her friend's problems and how she hopes Shannon and David will be able to fix their issues away from the television cameras.

She wrote, "When one of the partners are unfaithful, it's very difficult to overcome. It's going to take a lot of work, but I feel they have what it takes to beat those odds. I didn't realize that the statistics in Orange County were a 70% divorce rate which was very alarming. I often wonder if I stayed in IL., in a more quiet, conservative life, I would most likely still be married to Donn. When I was going thru marital counseling and divorce counseling, one of the things that I remember the counselor telling us is 'Abuse, Adultery, and Addiction' (the 3 A's) is a very difficult thing to overcome if that happens while married or in a committed relationship."

Vicki also said she didn't appreciate how Shannon "mourned" her marriage with a mock funeral, given the fact that her own mother passed away a few short months ago.

She added, "Watching David and Shannon's eulogy as if they died was very creepy to me. I didn't like it at all. I think because my mother's passing is still fresh in my mind, watching them lay as if they were dead was not appropriate at all. I mean, we all are going to die eventually, but why go to that extent? I don't know about any of you but I didn't like it and would never encourage that in marriage counseling."

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs every Monday on the Bravo network.
