Did Jordan Spieth's girlfriend show up to his big tournament last weekend?

Jordan Spieth Opens Up On Getting 'Ahead' Of Himself

That's the mystery question right now. On Sunday, Heavy pointed out that when Spieth played golf at the U.S. Open last weekend, he was joined by his parents as well as other family members and friends. And it was definitely a day worth going to since the breakthrough athlete 3-putted on the final hole as he went for his second-straight major championship.

So did Spieth's girlfriend Annie Verret attend the game? It's unclear if she did since cameras didn't point on her nor was she mentioned in follow-up interviews. It's possible she needed to miss out on this one game, but perhaps, she might be mentioned by Spieth at some point in the near future.

Jordan Spieth Has 'A Lot Of Goals' After Winning Masters Tournament

Both Spieth and Verret became the latest admirable sports couple when the golfer won the 2015 Masters and his girlfriend was there to cheer him on.

In an interview with USA Today, Spieth revealed that he plans to work hard in golf following his big win at the Masters Tournament. And with his success at the U.S. Open, it was probably worth it.

"It never even crossed my mind, after winning a major championship, you better believe that you're playing as good or better than anybody in the world," he said. "So why would that stop? I'm not going to sit there and stop practicing or stop working and party or anything."
