'Suits' Season 5 Will Have Heated Passion & Hidden Secrets

On Tuesday, TV Line shared an interview with Sarah Rafferty (Donna) who explored the idea of how her character truly feels for Harvey. Since he's been there for her in troubling circumstances, this could've changed her perception on him.

"Stuff got confusing at the end of the last season for [Donna]," Rafferty said. "She thought she was going to jail, and she basically needed Harvey to save her. It made her more confused about how she felt about [him]. I think she always felt that she was not in love with Harvey and that they were not a match. But something shifted."

The actress explained in more detail why Donna isn't too enthusiastic about having a real relationship with Harvey. They both might have feelings for each other, but Harvey doesn't seem to be qualified for something serious.

"Donna has always told herself that she and Harvey aren't right for each other because Harvey is in no way ready to have the kind of emotional relationship that she wants to have," Rafferty said. "She doesn't think he's emotionally intelligent. I think that's why she thinks they shouldn't be together, and [why] she tells herself that she doesn't love him."

Suits Season 5 premieres on Wednesday, June 24 at 9 p.m. ET on USA.
