According to a new interview, the former Real Housewives of Orange County stars canceled their wedding after learning many members of their family wouldn't be able to attend.

“We had our wedding on May 23, but we didn’t show up!” Rossi admitted to OK Magazine, according to a report by Radar Online on Friday. “Unfortunately, fairly quickly, we found out that a lot of family members already planned trips for Memorial Day weekend so we were unable to have it [then]."

Rossi and Smiley began dating while appearing on The Real Housewives of Orange County. During season one, Smiley joined the show as the fiance of Jo De La Rosa, and later in the show, he also dated Lauri Waring-Peterson.

“At this point, Slade and I haven’t rescheduled the date. It’s just not the first thing on our schedule right now, but we’ll eventually get married!” Rossi continued, revealing some of her co-stars would be invited to the upcoming ceremony.

“Lydia [McLaughlin], Terry and Heather [Dubrow], Jeana [Keough], Lauri [Peterson] and Peggy [Tanous], and lot of the other housewives in other franchises would probably be invited,” she said.

“We’re still trying to have a baby,” Rossi added. “I have a three bedroom home. One of the bedrooms I turned into a closet and the other we now need to make into a nursery hopefully.”
