Entertainment Weekly unveiled a new still from Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 featuring Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Effie Trinket (Elizabeth Banks) on July 2.

In the picture Effie stands behind Katniss, both looking somber and intense. Katniss is ready for combat in her Hunger Games costume.

Director Francis Lawrence also spoke to the publication about the final chapter in the series.

"There is some serious girl power in this movie," Francis said.

The director also lauded author Suzanne Collins for her writing, in a way grateful for giving them such a great canvas to work on: "She wrote it that way, and it's been so much fun to inhabit."

Finally the director also dished about how Mockingjay Part 2 will be the most heart rending of the series.

"It's probably the most emotional of the bunch," he said. "And I think it's the most ­satisfying of the bunch."

Previously, some pretty stunning pictures of Jennifer and Jena Malone from the Hunger Games franchise were revealed by Time magazine.

The portraits have been unveiled from Tim Palen's -- chief brand officer and president of worldwide marketing at Lionsgate -- photo book, Tim Palen: Photographs From the Hunger Games.

Part 2 also stars Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark, Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne, Woody Harrelson as Haymitch Abernathy, and Julianne Moore as President Alma Coin.

Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 will hit theaters on Nov. 20.
