The fifth season premiere for Suits started less than two weeks ago and an announcement has already been made for a renewal.

On Sunday, UPI announced that the USA drama will indeed be back for more episodes in a sixth season. The network has reportedly ordered a 16-episode arch for the tense drama.

Chris McCumber, the president of the USA network, mentioned how glad everyone is to see that there is still a future ahead for the series.

"Suits has set the bar high in every way and continues to be a strong performer and marquee property for USA," McCumber said. "From the incredible, on-screen performances and brilliant writing to the aspirational lifestyle portrayed, we look forward to continuing to bring viewers into the world of Suits every week."

Jeff Wachtel, chief content officer of NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment, also dished on the amazing content the show has given over the course of five seasons. He also teased that the season finale this year will likely keep viewers enticed to see what happens next.

"Suits has delivered a smart and sexy roller-coaster ride for five seasons," Wachtel said. "[Series creator] Aaron Korsh has some great surprises for the audience at the end of Season 5 that should really set future seasons on an exciting new course."

Suits currently airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on USA. The sixth season will likely premiere in summer 2016.
