There is always so much romantic drama ensuing on ABC's Grey's Anatomy season after season.

Could Katherine Heigl Return To 'Grey's Anatomy' For Season 12?

One couple that has been pretty strong for the most part on the series in the last few seasons has been Dr. Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington) and Dr. Alex Karev (Justin Chambers), but that could change heading into season 12.

In the season 11 finale things between this couple seemed really good seeing as she finally told him she loves him and they made plans to live together in a loft.

Luddington was at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend, where TVLine spoke to her about Grey's Anatomy at their interview suite inside the Hard Rock Hotel.

She reports to set very soon and explained she's anxious about filming the new season.

"I'm actually nervous about season 12," she admitted, adding, "The reason why I'm nervous is I feel like Jo and Alex have had sort of three seasons of being pretty good, which is really unusual on Grey's."

She elaborated that her character and Chambers' character have definitely had issues, but they always have overcome them.

They are now living together, which worries Luddington about their future.

"I just don't trust things are going to continue to go well," she said of their relationship.

She revealed as of right now she is going in blind, knowing nothing of what's to come for her character or anyone else's character.

She did admit that she doesn't think Jo would ever cheat on Alex, but isn't so sure he'd stay faithful to Jo.

"Alex would be to blame for a breakup," Luddington shared.

Grey's Anatomy returns to ABC on Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. ET for its season 12 premiere.
