Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban have officially joined the judges' table for "American Idol," a Fox spokesperson confirmed on Sunday, Sept. 16. The pair joins multi-Grammy-winner Mariah Carey who was announced in July, and the show's original judge Randy Jackson and original host Ryan Seacrest.

Robert Kardashian opened up to Ryan Seacrest about why he made headlines this week. The reality star was photographed with pop singer Rihanna and had an emotional outburst during a family therapy session on the lastest episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." When he was asked about his outburst on E!'s hit reality show, he attributed it to the fact that he "gets very passionate about things." "The therapist just got the emotions all out of me. I just had to get out of there. I guess it was something that needed to be let out," he added. "Sometimes I say things I don't mean and I usually take it out on Kim," because she brings out his "negative energy."

Nick Jonas and Pharell Williams are having discussions with the producers of "American Idol" to join the judging panel for Season 12 of FOX's hit show. Jonas was flown to Los Angeles for meetings to discuss the role and Williams is negotiating the terms of the contract, USWeekly reports. "Nick is pretty close to signing to be the 'Idol' judge," a source told the magazine exclusively. "They flew him in to L.A. last week for final meetings."
