Donald Trump's hush money case is underway and the Manhattan court is seeking the participation from adult-film star Stormy Daniels

Trump's legal team alleges they've tried to serve Daniels as she arrived for an event at a Brooklyn bar last month, but she refused to receive them and walked away.

According to the Associated Press, Daniels, 45, is expected to be a witness during the former republican president's criminal trial.

Per the news outlet, process server Dominic DellaPorte claimed he approached Daniels with the papers, requesting information about her relationship with Trump, 77, but was declined and forced to "leave them at her feet."

"I stated she was served as I identified her, and explained to her what the documents were. She did not acknowledge me and kept walking inside the venue," DellaPorte wrote in a court filing which was made public Wednesday. "She had no expression on her face."

Trump's legal team is now asking Judge Juan M. Merchan to urge Daniels to comply. Their filing reportedly also came with proof, including a photo taken by DellaPorte of Daniels as she walked away.

In return, Daniels' lawyer responded claiming they never received the paperwork, adding that their request is an "unwarranted fishing expedition" with no real "relevance" to Trump's criminal trial.

Per AP, they are requesting that Daniels give up details on a $130,000 payment she received in 2016 from one of Trump's lawyers Michael Cohen.

Allegedly, the payment was made to her in order to prevent her from speaking publicly about their prior sexual encounter. Trump is also being accused of tampering with records to conceal the nature of the payment.
