We’ve already heard that old faces are returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Bravo, but new reports show that a new face will come and shake up the cast and show like never before.

Cynthia Bailey & Peter Thomas’s Finances Take Another Hit

Apparently producers are looking to add the first transgender person to the show, TMZ reported Monday. Amiyah Scott, who was born Arthur, is slated to be the newest cast member. According to the site the transformation took place 10 years ago at 17 years old. It’s also been rumored that she has dated famous rappers, so it will certainly be interesting to see how that plays out this season.

This will be the first transgender cast member for the popular show, which is gearing up to enter into its eighth season.

Also joining the show is Living Single actress Kim Fields. But rumor has it she doesn’t stay on for long because she wasn’t interesting enough for the series. Porsha Williams has reportedly earned her peach again after being demoted to a recurring friend character last season for not having a story line that was juicy enough. Sheree Whitfield is also speculated to return after leaving the season after the fifth season. With NeNe Leakes stepping away from the show, Whitfield will be the only original cast member on the show. And she is said to be giving the ladies a run for their money already. Reports have circulated that she will bump heads with Kenya Moore and even threw a drink in her face. Whitfield’s arch nemesis Marlo Hampton is also joining, most likely as Moore's friend. Word is that Claudia Jordan was not asked to return. She was also missing when the full cast filmed their first scene together earlier this month at Cynthia Bailey’s eyewear launch event.

See how it all turns out when The Real Housewives of Atlanta returns later this year. Keep up with Enstars for more on the show.
