A pal of Bobby Shmurda gave some insight on what happened the night he was arrested.

Speaking to Revolt, rapper O.P. mentioned that he was with Shmurda when he was taken away by the police. O.P. was apparently arrested as well.

"It was actually crazy," the rapper said about the incident (via Design & Trend. "We was in the studio. They was recording. Sha Money was there. They was actually playing the Too $hort track that they just did. They was talking to Sha Money about flying to Cali to do the video. Bobby was there. He was mad energetic."

There were other GS9 members involved when the cops came by where it seems like everyone had been spotted.

"It was me, Bobby, Abillyon, Rowdy, Corey, Rash, it was everyone," O.P. said. "That was the crazy part. The indictment got unsealed in one night. They caught everyone in one night. Like everyone happened to be in Quad Studios."

The story continues when Shmurda supposedly left the studio and didn't return. Someone eventually saw him being apprehended and O.P. couldn't avoid the police. He and Shmurda were put in the same cell.

"I went into Bobby's cell and Bobby was tight," Shmurda's pal explained. "He was like, 'Yo, son, this s--t is f---ing crazy. They're trying to lock me up for Crip. I don't give a f--- about Crip, son.' He was just going crazy."

Shmurda was arrested on a number of charges, including gang and drug related charges. The news of his fate has yet to be announced.
