Scarlett is about to make one of the most difficult decisions that a person can ever make in the next episode of Nashville.

'Nashville' Actor Is Going To Make 'As Much Headway' As He Can

On Tuesday, a sneak peek was released on TV Line where Scarlett and Deacon are talking to the doctor about Beverly who remains on life support. As Scarlett's mother and Deacon's sister, there is less of a chance that she will survive, leaving her family members in shock and grief.

The doctor informs that Beverly is only being kept alive through machines and if those machines were removed, she could die in a matter of minutes. Deacon points out that his sister has been hooked up with machines before, but that didn't stop her from living. The doctor makes it clear that it's not a good idea at all to keep her on life support.

He adds that if she stays alive this way, she would eventually have to be moved to a nursing facility where it's doubtful she would recover. Deacon lets out his frustration by saying that just because Beverly has a slim chance of survival does not mean she's guaranteed to die. But as it turns out, it doesn't matter what he thinks because the decision is left to Scarlett.

She doesn't seem ready to make a decision like this although no one ever really is.
