Fans have gone crazy after news went down that an A-list actor is allegedly living with HIV and spreading it to women. While many are convinced they know who the mystery man is, the topic makes us think about the celebrities who are already (or who have) been open about their life with HIV.

It might be safe to say that former Los Angeles Lakers star Magic Johnson could serve as the HIV spokesperson for our generation.

He came out with the news back in late 1991, when it was definitely a taboo topic. But since then, he has successfully lived with the ailment and served as proof that it’s not necessarily death sentence. Still, given the news that another famous person is said to be secretly living with it, we can’t help but wonder who it could be.

Like this alleged top actor, Rock Hudson attempted to keep his struggle with HIV a secret for quite some time after being diagnosed in 1984. But he decided to let his fans and the public know in efforts to help others. He died the following year.

Late rapper Eazy E’s struggle with HIV was brought to light when the Straight Outta Compton biopic debuted earlier this year. Eazy E, who was part of the iconic N.W.A. group, announced that he had HIV back in March of 1995. As of late, there has been lots of controversy as to how he contracted the condition. One rapper named Fresh said that Eazy E was purposely given him cryptic acupuncture needles.
