Even though Heidi Klum and Sea have been divorced for quite some time now, the singer is finally opening up about the breakdown of their marriage. Seal hints that the German-born beauty put him through a lot of pain and that he needed his music to help him get though their divorce.

According to Xpose on Friday, Seal admits that writing tracks for his new album "7" helped him get through his heartache. Although he did suggest that Klum might have cheated on him with the family's bodyguard, their separation was amicable as they continue to co-parent their four children, Leni, 11, Henry, 10, Johan, eight, and Lou, five.

He said, "Some people pay to see a therapist, but I write an album. I would never divulge which songs are autobiographical - some bits are, of course."

And even though getting over the demise of his marriage wasn't easy, it looks like Seal is giving love a second try as he says he hasn't given up in that department just yet.

He added, "My faith in love is stronger than it's ever been. You can't become jaded or fearful. That would be a dark and lonely place.''

Even though Klum has had high-profile relationships with her former bodyguard Martin Kirsten and her current boyfriend, Vito Schnabel, Seal has maintained a low-profile, but there have been reports that he is dating Erica Packer.

He said, "Am I in a happy relationship? Yeah I am. I don't talk about it so much because I've learnt when you're in a relationship in the public eye, you need to keep the thing that are precious to you, so you stand a much higher chance of survival.''
