The season 17 fall finale of Law & Order: SVU aired on November 9, and fans are left jonesing for more.

Taylor Swift Guest Starring In Season 17? 

Marking the finale, Mariska Hargitay, who plays Olivia Benson, on the show tweeted that the series will return with more episodes in January:

For fans who haven't quite caught up with the finale yet, we won't exactly spoil it for you. But you can be excited as one of Benson's most dreaded cases returns to haunt her in the episode.

Season 17 Hits Ratings High With Latest Episode 

Lewis Hoda (Tom Sizemore) will return and plead not guilty stating that he has been framed. In the preview Benson looks totally frazzled by the proceedings as Hoda claims his innocence and she is put back in the hot seat to solve this case.

This episode will also mark the return of BD Wong as Dr. Huang.

Here's the official synopsis:

"Lewis Hoda (Tom Sizemore) begins his trial on child abduction. However, a plea deal is refused and Barba must face a former SVU colleague, Dr. Huang (BD Wong). Barba is forced to put his faith into very old evidence to land the offender in prison."

The episode will air on Nov. 18.
