The Vampire Diaries revealed plenty of answers to lingering questions during its episode that aired Thursday night, but the supernatural CW series will be taking a brief hiatus next week while families celebrate Thanksgiving.

'The Vampire Diaries' Has A Civil War Episode Coming Up That's 'So Well-Executed'

The feuding vampires, other supernatural beings and few remaining humans in Mystic Falls will return for a new episode on Dec. 3.

The episode will be called "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me," appropriate since it seems like even more destructive fighting will take place amongst the supernatural forces.

Could Jodi Lyn O'Keefe Return Again To 'The Vampire Diaries' In Future Episodes?

When The Vampire Diaries aired its latest episode, Lily (Annie Wersching) seemed to realize a little too late that Julian (Todd Lasance) is no good.

In the preview The CW Television Network's YouTube channel uploaded, below, Julian is seen throwing a party that will end horribly for humans.

"The heretics are throwing a murder party in your precious hometown!" Enzo (Michael Malarkey) shouts, adding, "You've brought a knife to a gun fight."

Mystic Falls is really in a bad situation, and it only gets worse. Julian will give Lily an ultimatum: she has to decide whether Damon (Ian Somerhalder) or Valerie (Elizabeth Blackmore) should live or die.

"One lives. One dies. You have to choose which," Julian declares.

It seems like Damon may offer himself up, as he demands, "Kill me!"

Plus, Caroline (Candice King) will spill the beans to Stefan (Paul Wesley) that she is pregnant with Alaric's (Matt Davis) and Jo's (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) twins.

"I'm pregnant," she tells him in the preview, adding in a whisper, "You can say something."

"I have to go," appears to be Stefan's response.

The Vampire Diaries airs on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
