On Sunday, the singer added a new picture where she stands with two gal pals as they all wear the same outfit with hands on their hips. In black attire, all three women have patches on their clothes as they spend the night in together.

In the caption, Lavigne wrote that "true friends" are the ones who will be there "not only in the sun but also in the dark."

It's been a pretty difficult year for Lavigne since not only was she diagnosed with Lyme disease, but she and her husband, Chad Kroeger, are calling it quits after two years of marriage. With this kind of stress, the singer seems pretty happy to have good people around who will be there during her difficult moments.

Meanwhile, it was announced from E! News that the "Rock N Roll" singer has been living with her friend Ryan Cabrera who apparently just got out of a relationship. While this might strike rumors of a new romance, the site made it clear that these two are indeed just friends.

Lavigne and Cabrera were also reportedly spotted at popular restaurant Pump in West Hollywood where things were strictly platonic.
