The Zoolander 2 trailer has already broken records in its first week of release.

'Zoolander 2' Trailer Arrives With An Unrecognizable Benedict Cumberbatch

The trailer for Zoolander 2  was just released on Nov. 18 but it is already the highest viewed comedy trailer of all time. Paramount Pictures announced the record in a new press release:

"The new trailer for Paramount Pictures' 'ZOOLANDER 2' has broken the record to become the most successful comedy trailer launch of all time. The trailer, which debuted online on November 18 and offers fans a sneak peek at the highly anticipated sequel to 2001's "ZOOLANDER," reached 52.2 million views in its first week of release," the release reads.

Derek Returns In New Movie Posters For 'Zoolander 2'

Zoolander 2 features the return of Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson as the fashionable yet clueless models Derek Zoolander and Hansel McDonald. Now aging models, they are enlisted by Penélope Cruz's character to "infiltrate the world of high fashion" when many of the world's "most beautiful people" are assassinated.

Will Ferrell also returns for the sequel as Jacobim Mugatu. Other stars include Kristen Wiig, Christine Taylor, Billy Zane, Fred Armisen, Kyle Mooney and Benedict Cumberbatch. A-list singers like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato will make cameo appearances.

Zoolander 2 is scheduled for release in theaters on Feb. 12, 2016.
