Criminal Minds is getting some serious star power on board, as Aubrey Plaza is set to come on board for a guest slot in an upcoming episode of the CBS procedural.

Showrunner 'Absolutely Wants' Jane Lynch Back In Season 11  

TVLine revealed that Plaza will be guest starring in the mid-season premiere of the series, set to air on January 13. The Parks and Recreation actress will playing the antithesis of what we are used to seeing her as, out of her comedic element. She will portraying Cat Adams, Dr. Reid's (Matthew Gray Gubler) date, who will put an awry twist on the romantic evening. Adams will pull a gun on Reid, and things will spiral out of control from there. The episode is going to be one helluva tense ride, as Adams will reveal that she knows Reid is an FBI agent and will have him get into action as she threatens to take down not only him but all the people in the restaurant.

Meanwhile, as fans must already be jonesing for the rest of season 11 of Criminal Minds, recently we got assurance that the team is hard at work on the upcoming episodes.

What makes the team of the show even more incredible is the fact that it seems like they were working on Thanksgiving.
