Robert Pattinson is apparently the type of actor who has a unique way of going about his work.

On Tuesday, Gossip Cop posted details from Pattinson's Life co-star Dane DeHaan who mentioned that he and the actor weren't that close before they started working together. But once they got to know each other in the process, he realized how they clicked.

"It's not like Rob and I weren't friends," DeHaan told The Huffington Post. "We hung out a couple of times outside of set, but other than that, it would be show up on set and really get to know each other through the process of making the movie as two artists who go about things in two different ways."

Pattinson is reportedly engaged to British singer FKA Twigs, but that's not stopping the fans from lusting after him. DeHaan dished on how the public sees Pattinson as a sex symbol.

"There's this sexuality that goes along with Rob's fans where they're just so into him as a sexual being," the actor said about his co-star.

In Life, DeHaan plays legendary movie star James Dean while Pattinson plays photographer Dennis Stock. DeHaan has worked with other iconic actors, including Daniel Radcliffe and Shia LaBeouf. One thing that DeHaan has noticed about these actors is that "their lives are all more crazy" than his.

Life hit theaters last weekend.
