Tiger Woods came to the aid of his rumored girlfriend, Lindsey Vonn who was badly injured on Tues, Feb. 5 in a skiing competition in Austria. TMZ obtained photos of Vonn entering Woods’ private jet to return to the United States on Friday, Feb 8. The website said the jet was mostly used by Woods’ ex-wife Elin Nordegren thoughout their divorce.

Vonn's doctors did not release a date for her return back to the sport, but believe the crash could sideline the ski champ for at least 8 months. Her physician Dr. William Sterret told the Associated Press a day after the accident that she was "doing well" and in "good spirits." The Olympic Gold Medalist tore her anterior cruiciate ligament and medical collateral ligament in her right knee. Her fall also caused her to suffer a lateral tibial plateau fracture. Sterret said the fracture should not require any surgery. "It needs to be non-weight on crutches."

Following the accident, Vonn released a statement to the media thanking her fans for being supportive.

“I am grateful to my fans for the outpouring of support, which has really helped me stay positive. I can assure you that I will work as hard as humanly possible to be ready to represent my country next year in Sochi.”

During the super-G race in Schladming, Austria, Vonn crashed when she lost her balance injuring her right leg. Her skis flew off preventing her from stopping and she ultimately crashed into a wall on the slopes. The 28-year-old was transported to a hospital by helicopter after her right leg was looked at on the slopes. Vonn is scheduled to have surgery in Vail, Colorado.

Does this make their romance official? Vonn finalized her divorced from her husband Thomas Vonn last month. Woods and Nordegren divorced after six years of marriage in 2010 after he was caught cheating with multiple women. Woods lost $110 million in the divorce settlement, making it one of the costliest splits ever.
