The 26-year-old actor recently chatted with Teen, which brought up his friendship with Gomez.

"Yeah we stay in contact, she's still a good friend," he confirmed, adding, he's still quite protective of her since they really do have a sibling-like relationship.

"I'm protective over every women in my life that I care for. Probably to a fault at times," he shared.

What was really surprising though is he is kind of like Gomez's ex Justin Bieber in a small sense! We already know Gomez's ex has not listened to Revival since some of the tracks are clearly inspired by him, but it turns out he isn't the only man in her life that hasn't listened to the album.

"I'm way behind on that stuff," Henrie revealed, adding, "LOL, don't tell her."

Gomez's album released in October so he definitely could listen to it, but we think he just hasn't had time since he's been busy acting for multiple projects. Plus, he has been prepping for his role of Ronald Reagan in Reagan.
