If anyone needed more proof that Adele is quite the legend, they likely got it when she appeared on James Corden's Carpool Karaoke segment of The Late Late Show.

The smash artist, who has reportedly known Corden for seven years, filmed the segment with him in London just after the holidays, and the 15 minute session was one which not only saw great musical moments, but dropped quite a few knowledge bombs about the singer as well.

Here are the seven most surprising things we learned about Adele during the segment:

She Plays The Drums During Hello

Some fans already knew she accompanied herself on the song with her instrumental talents as well, but those that didn't were in for a nice treat when she confirmed it during the segment.

Adele Was A HUGE Spice Girls Fan

Like most girls who grew up in the 90s, she was a major fan of the Spice Girls, and even semi credits them with inspiring her to pursue music. She also admitted that the first time she was ever truly heartbroken was when Geri Halliwell--who she most identified with--left the group.

Halliwell later responded to the love on Twitter, telling Adele that the group all love her as well:

Her Next Album Won't Be A Number

She used the ages she was at the time she recorded her albums because they were polaroids of her life at those times, but she also believes in trilogies. Because of that, her next album won't be a number, but will simply be titled after her name.

She Wouldn't Dare Compete With Taylor Swift's Squad Goals

Even though Corden pointed out she could have a pretty awesome squad including Beyonce, Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Schumer and Emma Stone, Adele said she wouldn't try competing with the American megastar's impressive squad simply because they're all "Amazonian" and would "probably kick us with their long legs."

Adele Does Crazy Things While Drunk

Catch her in a restaurant after she's had too many glasses of wine and you could get your meal comped--or tickets to one of her sold-out shows.

She Has No Plans To Win An EGOT

Adele thinks a Tony will be hard to come by because she has absolutely no time to write a musical. So for now, just a GO it is.

She Can Rap!

She admits she can't spit rhymes on her own, but she has no problem when it comes to covering Nicki Minaj. Her singing "Monster" during the segment earned major props from the rapper.
