Carrie Underwood opened up on how she keeps up with her beauty traits while balancing a busy life.

Carrie Underwood Dishes On Bringing Her Son On Tour

As a hard-working singer as well as a wife and mother, the country star dished in Monday's report from E! News on how she holds it all together. It's definitely not easy to add on a bunch of makeup on a limited schedule, but she finds a way to make it work.

"Being a busy mom, everything needs to be as simple as possible when it comes to my beauty routine because it's rare that I actually get a decent amount of time to get myself ready," Underwood said. "But if there is one thing I'm going to do it's probably going to be my eyes. The multi-benefit mascara just looks great!"

The singer then dished on what she's looking forward to as 2016 begins.

"I always look forward to hockey season, of course, my husband plays hockey," she said, referring to Mike Fisher. "It's going to be a really busy, wonderful year for me. We have a lot of tour stuff to plan, so January is going to be all about the tour for me and getting everything perfect before we go out. It's going to be a good year this year, I think!"

Underwood and Fisher have been married for five years now. Their son, Isaiah, will turn 1 this February.
