Kristen Bell is expecting a baby girl, according to a photo taken at her baby shower.

In the image, the comedic actress is seen holding up two breast pumps against her chest, while a pink and brown gift box filled with baby gifts is in front of her.

Bell's friend, writer Kelly Oxford, captioned her Twitpic photo of the actress: "totally trying to get me to put the next baby in her :(" 

The House Of Lies actress had a baby shower at private residence on Saturday, Feb. 22. Friends and family that came to celebrate the upcoming arrival of her first child included TK actress Rachel Bilson.

Bilson and Bell appeared together in the series finale of Gossip Girl last month. (Bell provided the voice-over as the unknown Gossip Girl blogger until the series ended in January.)

In the photos of Bilson entering the home for the baby shower, the actress is holding a stuffed animal toy and several baby books.

Bell and her fiance, actor Dax Shepard, stepped put publicly for the last time when they attended the Golden Globes together in Beverly Hills on Jan. 13. House Of Lies received several nominations.

Entertainment Tonight asked the couple on the red carpet at the Golden Globes "what kind of crazy parents" they expect to be and Shepard answered, "We're giving the child up for adoption."

Bell quickly followed up with: "If anybody wants it, let us know!"

When the entertainment news show inquired about the baby's sex, the couple said they knew but were not ready reveal it.

"She's having an elephant," Shepard joked. "They gestate many months longer than a human."

Bell ended the interview stating that she's had an easy pregnancy and "feels great."

Bell and Shepard began dating in 2007 and announced their engagement in 2010. Shepard stars in NBC's Parenthood. Bell is also widely known for the 90's hit Veronica Mars
