Tom Cruise flew his daughter Suri Cruise over from New York to London earlier in the month so that the pair would spent four to five days of quality time together, People reported Thursday.

Tom, 50, sent a private jet to pick up Suri, 6 , and bring her to the Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire and a source told the magazine Suri was with her father for severay days "but they kept such a low profile that nobody really knew she was there."

Tom and Katie Holmes seperated in the summer of 2012 and she got full custody of their daughter, moving with her to a private resident in New York City. The Mission Impossible star reportedly has difficulty scheduled time he can spend with Suri, also because he is in middle of filming a film, but the father and daughter did get to spend both Thanksgiving and Christmas together in 2012.

Suri is enrolled in Manhattan's private Avenues school.

Earlier in February Tom quietly sold his East Village apartment in New York. The 10th floor unit located in the famous American Felt building sold for $ 3 million without a real estate agent. The apartment measured 2,200 square feet, had two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a third room that he converted into a gym. Tom still has mutiple homes including a $30 million mansion in Beverly Hills and another in Colorado.

"He just doesn't really need it anymore," a source told Us Weekly about the Manhattan apartment. "He's barely in the city...The only reason to keep it was when he had Suri and Katie and needed a real home in the city for them."

The Jack Reacher star will star in Mission: Impossible 5, announced to be released in 2015. He is currently filming the 2014 film All You Need Is Kill and will also have a role in the Van Helsing picture.
