It looks like George Clooney might be leaving the United States for good. There's a new report that says the Hollywood actor's wife Amal Clooney has somehow convinced him to spend his golden years in England as he's hinted himself that he's looking to retire while living in the couple's southeast England mansion.

Why Is Amal Clooney So Hated In America? 

According to OK! Magazine's print edition this week (via Xpose), the actor says there's no better place in this world for him to grow "old and grey."

When asked if he is going to move out of his Los Angeles home anytime soon, he said, "Not in the near future. But in the long run that's a house where I can imagine living with my wife and getting old and grey. When I speak about old and grey, I'm only referring to myself.''

What's more, sources close to the couple say that George is willing to sacrifice his Hollywood career just so the couple can finally start and raise a family in England.

The insider explained, "They decided that it would be the right time. Amal isn't taking on extra work at the moment and just continuing with the cases she has. This is something they really want.''
